This policy explains the cookies and similar storage technologies RallyLinkuses. Most of it is storage that’s strictly necessary to make the Service work. We also show ads to visitors and to members on the free plan, and those set advertising cookies.

What we use

• Authentication — to keep you securely signed in between visits.
• Preferences— to remember your choices, such as light/dark theme and which activities you’ve skipped.
• Security & rate-limiting — to protect the Service from abuse.

Some of these are stored as cookies and some in your browser’s local storage; both are used strictly to operate the Service.

Advertising

RallyLink is free to join and free to host, and ads help pay for that. Ads are served by Monetag, a third-party advertising network, and they set their own cookies and similar identifiers to decide which ad to show and to measure it.

• Who sees them.Everyone except Pro members — including visitors who aren’t signed in. We tell you before you see your first one.
• Where they don’t appear. Never on these legal pages or our support page.
• Pro removes them. RallyLink Pro members are never shown ads, and the advertising script is never loaded for them at all.
• Turning them off. Upgrading to Pro stops ads entirely. You can also block advertising cookies in your browser settings, or use a content blocker — neither will stop the rest of RallyLink from working.

Monetag acts as an independent controller of the data it collects through these cookies. See Monetag’s privacy policy for what they collect and how to object.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell your personal data, and we don’t share your account details, messages, or the activities you join with advertisers. If a payment is made, our third-party payment providermay set its own cookies as part of secure checkout — see that provider’s own cookie and privacy notices, linked at checkout.

Managing storage

You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time. Note that clearing them will sign you out and reset your preferences, and the Service may not work correctly without essential storage.
